The triumvirate of multinationals, indigenous SMEs and start-ups that make up the medtech community in Ireland will share a platform for a robust examination of the challenges and opportunities currently facing the sector.<br />
The medtech sector is a thriving ecosystem in which State agencies, academic institutions and health bodies work closely with industry in an established regulatory environment.<br />
MedTech West Summit will complement the activity and enterprise of this highly collaborative community and contribute to the outstanding performance of the sector.<br />
This content-driven conference will have a live stage format and will examine key operational challenges and opportunities facing the medtech sector in Ireland and internationally.<br />
The conference agenda includes sessions on international best practice within the medtech sector; leadership and transformational change; and the challenges and opportunities facing the start-up ecosystem in Ireland.<br />
A key panel discussion will also examine the evolving nature of the relationship between supplier and multinational, with insights from key global stakeholders.<br />
A number of official partners for the event have been confirmed to date, with further announcements likely over the coming months. Amongst those confirmed are Arthur Cox, one of Ireland’s largest law firms; EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services; the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI); and NUI Galway.<br />
The west of Ireland is an internationally renowned medical device cluster.
