• REPRO Free : GET2LS 'My Dream Secondary School' Competition

Galway Educate Together Second Level Start Up Group (GET2LS) recently ran a 'My Dream Secondary School' competition, asking children to either describe or illustrate their dream school. The standard of entries was extremely high with many wonderful ideas suggested. These ranged from the ideals of acceptance and respect, to chocolate desks and rocket boost chairs for teachers!

The competition was judged by an independent panel of judges which included local poet Bernie Crawford, journalist John Hearne and artist Frank Sanford. Prizes were sponsored by Charlie Byrne's Bookshop, Powell's Art & Music Shop and Cregal Art.

The winning entries can be seen on the GET2LS website, www.get2ls.org, where information on the ongoing campaign for a Second Level Educate Together School in Galway can also be found.
