  • Medtronic judge Lynne Kerr keeps a close eye on Conor Lee and Jack Egan from Clarinbridge National School who took part in the  Medtronic Knex Challenge at the Radisson blu Hotel.  Medtronic KNEX Challenge is for  primary school children completing  exceptional tasks which will be judged on the level of engineering, innovation and communication displayed by the teams.. .The final event of the week is the Medtronic  Junior FIRST LEGO League challenge on THURSDAY. This is the second year The Galway Education Centre has hosted this competition - one of only six countries in the world who do so. Following the success of last year, over 500 school children from all over the country are expected to come along and practice their robotics, presentation and teamwork skills live on the night!. .Bernard Kirk, Director of The Galway Education Centre says; ?Working on this three day event every year is fun and exciting and always surprising.
