  • Burning Bright is a Visual Artist residency Programme in nursing Homes throughout Galway City & County. The project was initiated by the Arts Office in Galway County Council over ten years ago and has grown into a wonderful partnership between agencies, artists, nursing homes and the hospitals.The opening of Burning Bright was officiated by from left the Mayor of the City of Galway, Councillor Terry O'Flaherty,  Mayor of the County of Galway Councillor Tom Welby with the Special guest Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh.
